Music From the Unrealized Film Script, Dusk at Cubist Castle, is a sprawling Beatles-inspired psych rock odyssey that follows the journey of two women, Olivia & Jacqueline and the events that ensue after a fictional earthquake in California. Although the film was unmade, the depth and flavor of the record definitely paint a visual picture of its own. Music From the Unrealized Film Script, Dusk at Cubist Castle, The Olivia Tremor Control's debut, was originally recorded in 1996 and was released alongside a few thousand copies of a bonus CD of ambient soundscapes ('Explanation II'), that was meant to be played at the same time as the first disc (thankfully this companion album is included with the digital download to be enjoyed simultaneously with the vinyl). Includes the songs: "Jumping Fences," "Define A Transparent Dream" & "Green Typewriters." 27 tracks in all. Released by Chunklet on limited colored vinyl.
