Young Turks: 2013/1 (Lost Scripts, Koreless) 12"
First in a series from the commendable Young Turks imprint. To celebrate their artists' output over the past year the label has embarked on this limited 12" series. Along with the music you get a beautiful die-cut jacket, complete with a full color inner sleeve. First up are two electronic leaning tracks, one decidedly more house tinged than the other. John Talabot and Pional's new project Lost Scripts turns in a two step inspired "I'll Be Watching You." On the flip is the tension filled "Sun" from Koreless. It provides an interesting counter point to the more rhythmically oriented A side.
