V/A: Top Shelf Sampler 001 (Phoreski, JDisko, Rakyo) 12"

Yeah, I can hear Blu Jemz and his girl scurrying to the shop to pick this one up. Dark Wave / Dark Italo edits from LA's Top Shelf Records featuring Phoreski (under the Bottoms Up guise), JDisko, and Spain's Rayko. Phoreski drops a Cure edit that has the internetz buzzing... worth it alone for this one. Genius on both ends. JDisko follows it up with "Seduction" a slo-mo, John Carpenter-type burner. Snack says it almost has a Nine Inch Nails quality to it. Lastly, Rayko an edit of Peter Richard's "Walking On Neon", an obscure 1984 italo cut in a similar vein. Recommended.
