Repressed! Cult NYC label Golf Channel Recordings hits its 17th release with the 3rd volume in Justin Vandervolgen's Try To Find Me series. Once again the TBD member has dug up some rare vinyl oddities and has masterfully tweaked them to work on 21st century dancefloors. Check the smooth sounds of "Needs Ending" that combines electronic disco rhythms with funky bass, shimmery synths and dreamy female vocals for sweet balearic groove. "I'm A Dancer" is on the flip and ups the tempo (and energy levels) with a storming mid-80's EBM beat that's sure to wreck the dance floor on peak time. Recommended.
