Their music is earnest and emotionally charged, able to capture those little moments in a way that none of their contemporaries can. With The Greatest Generation the band turns the focus inwards, looking back on the pains of growing up. The tackle the decisions and choices one has to make as they grow up. There are the things you have to live with and the things that could have been. It's all handed over with infectious like-ability that belies the bittersweet undercurrents that run through the band's music. The Greatest Generation is pop and punk, a little emo as well, and proudly wears its heart on its sleeve.
