Considering The Rootsā first āgigā was at a talent show in 1989, this recording, unearthed from ā92 DAT tapes, is MAJOR. Organix came out in 1993, with Do You Want More?!!!??! following a year later, and the rest is history for these Philly legends, and the nine tracks collected, recorded at The Phoenix Festival outside of London, on this rare LP are the earliest blueprints of the jazz-y, live hip-hop sound that the group will go on to trademark.
