The Breeders' 4th, back on wax.Ā 2008'sĀ Mountain BattlesĀ would beĀ a sort of return to form forĀ Kim Deal and her twin sister Kelley Deal. While their previous effort (2002'sĀ Title TK)Ā found the band with a lo-fi work-in-progressĀ vibe, Mountain BattlesĀ sees the BreedersĀ back with a revived confidence in their unique quirks. The album was recorded between 2002 and 2007 at several studiosĀ around the country, including Steve Albini's Electrical Audio in Chicago, Manny Nieto's studio in L.A., Refraze Studios in Dayton, plus some basement recordings for good measure.13 tracks including "Bang On," "Walk It Off," "Overglazed," and more. This is theĀ 2018Ā 4AD reissue, complete with custom full color booklet and printed inner sleeve.
