A modest success at the time, this album has proved a massive influence on the Vaporwave community. Downtempo bleeps and bloops drift between a chill haze and laser focus, drums curdled with digital distortion among woozy funk. This record separates itself from its copyright flaunting brethren with its original vocals and traditional song structure, sounding more in line with Ariel Pink or Washed Out than Macintosh Plus. This is purported to be the last time the album is available on vinyl, a deluxe 10th anniversary edition with 3 exclusive bonus tracks pressed on Surfing's own Subsubmarine imprint.
