Sublime: Acoustic (Bradley Nowell & Friends) Vinyl LP

Released two years after the untimely passing of Bradley Nowell (RIP), this album is for Sublime fans that want to experience the ska punk band’s material in a more intimate, raw, and serene way. It’s just Nowell and his guitar, and occasional mid-strum taps provide the rhythmic backdrop. Materials from 40oz. to Freedom, Robbin’ the Hood, and the 3rd self-titled album (“Wrong Way” is the opener, and it gives the LP cut a good run for its money). Bradley also does some covers, and “Marley Medley,” which consists of Bob Marley’s “Guava Jelly” and “This Train,” is one of the highlights of the posthumous album.
