Heat Alert!Ā Can't help but think of this 12" asĀ an unofficial reunion of sorts forĀ TBD, the DJ/producer super duo of Justin Vandervolgen (aka the My Rules boss) and Lee Douglas (of Rong/Cititrax fame). The two used toĀ slay it at various underground (and not-so-underground) venues across NYC with their unique brand of DJing that would include tons ofĀ secret weapon edits. I'm guessing this was one of thoseĀ edits as "Jungle People" is aĀ burning soulful disco stomper set forĀ peaktime play.
