Smif-N-Wessun: Bucktown Vinyl 7"

Originally appearing in 1995 on the Brooklyn duo's debut album Dah Shinin’, “Bucktown” stands as one of the milestones for the East Coast sound. Following up affiliate group Black Moon’s Enta Da Stage, the raw production and ominous themes see the Boot Camp Clik’s conceptual aesthetic more fully realized. Produced by Evil Dee & Mr. Walt of Da Beatminerz, “Bucktown” was the first to sample Jack Bruce’s iconic horn riff, later used by Diamond D and the Artifacts. Previously only available on 12”, we now have an official 7” reissue with the instrumental on the flip for all Original Heads. Doubles Recommended.
