Shintaro Sakamoto: Boat / Dear Future Person Vinyl 7"

Shintaro Sakamoto: Boat / Dear Future Person Vinyl 7"

Mellow mellow, right on. After a 3 year hiatus from songwriting, Shintaro Sakamoto returns with an exceptionally dreamy slice of lo-fi folk. "Boat" channels major Hosono House vibes with a stripped back arrangement, and a particularly laid back delivery that is accentuated by Eddie Corman's soft and subtle backing vocals. It is the perfect soundtrack to daydreaming on a lazy Sunday, or attempting (but failing) to get through your tsundoku pile. B-side features a chill cover of Cornelius' "Dear Future Person," a track that Sakamoto actually wrote the original lyrics to.
