First time on vinyl! Of Light is one of Shabazz PalacesĀ earliest works, originally self-released on CD in 2009 (along with their self-titled EP). After blowing up on Sub-Pop with Black Up and Lese Majesty, it seems only right to revisit where it all began;Ā and Templar gives us that opportunity with a timely pressing on beautiful green vinyl. Ishmael Butler (of Digable Planets)Ā beenĀ had that Shabazz swag since the beginning as evidenced on "Sparkles," "Gunbeat Falls," and "100 SPH." Seven tracks in all.Ā
