Satoshi Tomiie: New Day Album Sampler #1 (Ron Trent, DJ Sneak) Vinyl 12"

Satoshi Tomiie: New Day Album Sampler #1 (Ron Trent, DJ Sneak) Vinyl 12"

Limited edition vinyl only sampler from house legend Satoshi Tomiie's second album, New Day. The opening cut, "Thursday 2 AM," brings light to Larry Heard's influence on Satoshi's early days producing house in the 80s. He drops a classic sounding bass line under warm pads which give way to a mellow acid line. Ron Trent's remix takes the track in a deeper direction that is just as effective. The flip side is more on the DJ tool side of things, a filter heavy flanger filled affair that is all beats and sub heavy bass. We get even more loopy on DJ Sneak's Dubby Beats Mix. Look out dancefloor!
