Roche continues to deliver his distinct brand of house and techno with this release on 100% Silk. His four track EP for the LA based label, A Night At The Haç, may or may not be a tribute to the legendary Manchester club. Either way it still channels the spirit of that era. The title track channels piano house through a distorted lens, blending off kilter keys with banging rhythms. Acid House is Roche's next touchstone with "Outsider Insider" while "CG Vision" is from another world entirely. His agility with synths is showcased on the closer, "Psycho Zombie Dreams." Half science fiction soundtrack, half pounding techno, with a dark vision all its own.
