Spaced out obscure cuts compiled by Psychemagik's Danny McLewin! Ritual Chants - Beach is the second installment in the vinyl edition of Ritual Chants compilation. Made up of tracks collected while touring the world, the disparate source material is expertly put together. The drum machine psychedelics of Tony Wilson's "Hangin' Out In Space" give way to the krauty groove of Zru Vogue's "Do The Zru." Japanese disco vibes come courtesy of Hitomi Tohyama's "Wanna Kiss," while J.M. Black brings some smooth boogie with "Lipstick (Shout!)." And there are plenty more slow-motion heaters to be found. Kudos to McLewin for continuing Psychemagik's longstanding run of exceptional compilations. Twelve tracks in all. Released by Eskimo Recordings on double vinyl housed in a full color sleeve.
