Plustwo: Melody / Stop Fantasy Vinyl 12"
Consider this a blessing from the italo reissue gods. No joke,Ā Plustwo's "Stop Fantasy" is one of the funkiest italo boogie joints ever (peep that tb-303 action!). Originally released in 1983 on MIO Records, this was the first release from the group consisting ofĀ Antonella Bianchi, Giorgio Costantini, Marina Bianchi, andĀ Renzo ZulianĀ who would only have one other 12" before fading into obscurity. The original 12" would become a highly sweated collectors piece for heads in the know, going upwards of $200 on the 'cogs. It was also recently featured on the standout Compassion Cuts compilation, but we're more than stoked to see it get a legitĀ 12" reissue courtesy of Australia's Mothball Records. They went ahead and did it proper - OG 12" configuration with "Melody" on the flipside, fresh remaster, and repro cover artĀ -Ā all with Giorgio Costantini's blessing. ThisĀ has been on my wantlist forever, and I never thought I'd see the day when thisĀ record would beĀ available again so don't even think about sleeping on it! Recommended.
