Pam Todd: Let's Get Together 12"
Here we have a handy boot of Pam Todd & Love Exchange's 1977 classic "Let's Get Together." If you have an original pressing, consider me jealous. This is soulful disco at its best, with Pam Todd's vocals that give a great energy to any dancefloor. "Let's get together hun and make some love"... not gonna argue with that! Unique to this 12" is a DJ tool track that extends that wonderful piano break intro for a good couple minutes. Cop doubles and do a live re-edit like they used to back in the day. The disco heat continues on the flip with Mike & Bill's "Somebody's Gotta Go" another dancefloor burner that also includes an extended breaks track. Very recommended.
