Nino Nardini & Roger Roger: Jungle Obsession Vinyl LP

Nino Nardini & Roger Roger: Jungle Obsession Vinyl LP

Early 70's exotica obscurity reissued! Created decades after the exotica boom of the 50's, Jungle Obsession is a something of an oddity. On the surface, the album looks right in line with lounge classics from Martin Denny and Frank Hunter, but in actuality, the sounds contained were a sort of an homage to exotica by library music expert Nino Nardini. Here Nardini combined easy listening, relaxed jazz, and jungle noises with the then-prevalent sound of funk, blues and psychedelia for a lush, updated take on exotica. The result is a dreamy, yet funky combination and a prime example of 1970's library music that stands the test of time. Top quality import reissue.
