My Morning Jacket: Z Vinyl 2LP+CD
Fourth album from My Morning Jacket. The Louisville psych band expand their repertoire with the use of synthesizers and a subtle dub-reggae influence on 2005's Z. The result is much more refined and spacious compared than previous efforts (despite missing that signature heavy reverb), and ultimately very enjoyable all the way through. Production was handled by John Leckie, which probably lends to the Radiohead-esque feel on tracks like "It Beats 4U," "Dondante" and "Knot Comes Loose." 10 tracks plus CD featuring the bonus song "Chills." Comes in gatefold sleeve.
