Not to take anything away from Brian May's original score, but the NYC collective's live re-scoring just suits our tastes so much better. Compared to the grandiose symphonic assault of the original, the Morricone Youth version seduces you with sleek synths, motorik rhythms, mellow jazz, rock freakouts, and spaghetti western twangs (proper homages to their namesake Ennio Morricone). In an alternate universe, this may well have been the official soundtrack, but either way, we're glad MY has gone the distance to create such a parallel sonic dimension. This colorway limited to 500 copies, and comes complete with download code.
