The ugly beautiful. The muggle immutable. I have nothing in common with the Meat Puppets aesthetically or humanly, but there's so much beauty in those chords and crackles. Real recognize real, and Kurt did. Yeah this album is pretty much bulletproof in an unwashed jean jacket armor type of way (the oils fuse with the denim). "Aurora Borealis" is a true piece of art and captures the beauty of sadness of the Northern Lights like a master haiku written by a 5th grade genius. And when you hear those originals that were covered on Unplugged, you feel you were fed slightly watered-down versions. Oh Me.
