The game was first releasedĀ in arcades in 1988, but the Genesis/Mega Drive version is the one most will remember for many things (those strangeĀ cut scenes?), especiallyĀ the soundtrack. Tohru "Master" Nakabayashi was responsible for composing the musicĀ of Altered Beast, perfectly setting the toneĀ with intenseĀ battle themes of epic proportions. This limited edition Data Discs pressing comes sourced from a Japanese Mega DriveĀ and pressed on opaque orange colored vinyl. Cut at 45 RPM and specially mastered for vinyl for the best listening experience. Comes housed in 400g matte varnish sleeve featuringĀ hand-painted artwork from the SEGA archivesĀ andĀ foldout poster of the original painting used for the gameās box art.
