San Francisco's Voltaire Records continues their run into the modern funk world with Loose Shus' self titled EP. The record is filled with vintage synths and juicy hooks, boogie bass lines and laser visions. There seems to be no shortage of funk on the west coast, no matter where you are. Loose Shus rides the groove laid out by Dam Funk, while bringing his own taste and style to the table. Straight out the gate the vibes are loungey and sensual with an added air of cosmic psychedelia.
