Floating Features finds the quartet of singer/guitarist Shana Cleveland, drummer Marian Li Pino, keyboardist Alice Sandahl, and bassist Lena Simon adding a little spaghetti western to their surf-rock indebted sound. Newly relocated to Los Angeles, the band seems to draw heavy influence from the city. While their previous albums seemed to play with the darker side of the surf sound, Floating Features shines some California sunshine on the band's retro stylings. Eleven tracks in all.
