Knuckle Puck: Copacetic (Violet Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP
Hailing from Chi Town, Knuckle Puck (Mighty Ducks fans?) started out as a cover band. Joe Taylor (vocalist), Kevin Maida (guitarist), and John Siorek (drummer) started writing their own songs around 2011, and after a slew of well received singles and EPs, they released Copacetic in 2015. A melodic, emo take on punk, the debut album consists of catchy, accessible tunes that sometimes thrash, and at other times favor a slower, more reflective approach. Songs to check out: "Disdain," "Pretense," "Untitled," "True Contrite," and "Wall to Wall (Depreciation)."
