Much anticipated debut release from north London Funky production duo, Ill Blu. These guys have remixed everyone from Hot Chip to Cheryl Cole and Shystie, and have been getting spins from key players like Kode9 and Supa D, so it's about time they give us some original productions! Well here it is, and they certainly deliver with "Bellion," a track representing the UK Funky style at it's simplest and most effective with an infectious bell melody and layers of tension-building percussion. On "Dragon's Pop," they hit us off with a wall of relentless congas, snares, deep bass and percussion that is sure to intensify the floor.
