Heads Records: South African Disco Dub Edits Vinyl 12"

Triple Flame Emoji.Ā Soundway does it again with another killer selection of early 80's South African disco-dub heaters, this time culled from theĀ short-livedĀ Heads label. Every track on here is a dance floor burner, kicking off with William & The Young Five's "You Turn Me On," as re-editedĀ by Razor-N-Tape co-honcho J Kriv for maximum get down. Worth it for this one alone, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Up next is Frankie Francis takes on Adaye's "Turn It Up" and Manyane's "Thabong" for more floor working action, while Starlight's mostly instrumental jam "Picnic" closes it out on the proper bubblegum boogie tip. Fans of the Gumba Fire comp would be wise not to miss this. Recommended.
