Collaborative 12" debut from Henrik Bergqvist and Noah Gibson as HBNG.Ā For their eponymous EP, the Stockholm-based duo present four tracks of varied techno styles, kicking off with the bumping, dub-techno influenced "Planet Sunday" which has recently made it into the sets of many top tier DJs (including John Talabot). With throwbackĀ rave keys and one hell of anĀ ear-worm melody, this is easily the standout of the EP. "This World To The Next" comes next, taking the vibe further underground with tweaked, off-kilter bass, while "Looking 4 Trouble" is a mind-fuck for the dancefloor with an insane tempo change trick that is absolutely bonkers. Also includes the bit-crushed, wild-out groove of "Outrun." Import pressing.
