Acid life.Ā The good doctor Eric Duncan (aka Dr. Dunks) teams up with fellow NYC DJ/producerĀ Justin VandervolgenĀ of TBD/Golf Channel fame for a pair of acidĀ houseĀ workouts under the Happy Family alias. You may know these two for their top notch disco work,Ā but this 12" proves they also know their way around some hardware, especially a 303. Check theĀ blisteringĀ soundĀ of "Burnt" that effectively freaks some bubbling mid-range acid for peak-time blow up, while "Hard To Breathe" eases up with a bit of melodic italo house vibes. Seems these two can do anything they put their mind to!
