Grimes' full length debut from 2010 finally reissued!Ā While not as ubiquitous as her breakout sophomore effort Visions, the often underratedĀ Geidi PrimesĀ found Claire Boucher stepping out with aĀ dreamy, eccentric sound that would become her signature. Compared to the aforementionedĀ Visions, the production seems less refinedĀ and in her own words, more "naive," but itĀ just adds to the free and magical vibe of theĀ music. Includes the tracks "Caladan," Rosa," "Zoal Face Dancer," "Avi," "Venus in Fleurs," and more. Bonus for the sci-fi nerdus, the title and many of the track names are in reference to Frank Hibert's Dune, Claire's favorite book. 2016 reissue on Arbutus with digital download included.
