The duo of Guru and DJ Premier wasted no time kicking off the album with the unforgettable "You Know My Steez." In the intervening years since their last album, Hard To Earn, Guru had pursued his Jazzmatazz project and Primo had produced everyone from Mobb Deep to Biggie. Moment Of Truth was a return to form for Guru and for Gang Starr as a whole. For many fans there was nothing like the classic combination of Primo and Keith Elam.
