The A side is a faithful cover of a certain lo-fi soul tune… not sure it’s been 100% cleared so not going to call it out, but the rolling groove, hypnotic synth lead, smooth vocals and killer breakdown have all been nailed to perfection with a modern touch by Fryer & co. Flip it over for the equally crucial “Taken For Granted,” a deep slice of polyrhythmic proto-house laid down Northern style. Sold out everywhere first time around, don’t miss it this time!
