Golf Channel turns in another stellar disc from Dominik Von Senger (The Phantom Band, Dunkelziffer). This time around Thomas Bullock of Rub N Tug offers up two remixes of Senger's "Only Love Can Take Us Home" under his Welcome Stranger guise. They're two unique takes that go in unexpectedly beautiful directions but keep the krautrock close to their respective hearts. Senger's guitar work is reminiscent of Manuel Göttsching's work with Ash Ra Temple and his Inventions for Electric Guitar. "Mix 2" gets particularly slow and dark, and shows just how adept Bullock is behind the boards.
