They did it before with Gil Scott Heron and know they manage to pull revered soul crooner Bobby Womack out of retirement and back into the lime light with "The Bravest Man In The Universe." Damon Albarn (from Gorillaz) and XL Records boss Richard Russell handle production duties and give Mr. Womack's a bluesy electro soul beat that works as the perfect bridge between old and new. The funk mix of "Please Forgive My Heart" takes up the flip and is a brilliant floor-ready soul mover. This promo 12" also includes the acapella for "Bravest Man.."
