Boards Of Canada: Trans Canada Highway Vinyl LP

Official repress!Ā Here's the original Lab review from 2006:

New companion EP from Boards Of Canada built around "Dayvan Cowboy," a dreamy standout from their Campfire Headphase album. Removed from the album and allowed to breathe, this track reinvents itself. It's quite a stunning piece, definitely worthy of the spotlight. Mush's Odd Nosdam provides the remix, an abstracted version with rock elements. In addition, to the delight of BOC fans, there are 4 new tracks. Two of those tracks "Left Side Drive" and "Skyliner" are the meaty Boards tracks we love: inventive drum programming and all that delicious etherea. Cut in between those tracks are two ambient tracks that work well to give this EP a sense of completeness. This is much better than I expected.Ā

  • black vinyl pressing
  • printed inner sleeve
  • digital download included
  • music label: Warp Records 2013
