Detroit's Big Strick teams up with his son, Generation Next, for three tracks of deep techno realness. There's no doubt that the lineage is strong here, Big Strick has dropped a few banging EPs on Omar-S' FXHE and Generation Next's self titled EP has not left my crate since we picked it up. The three tracks here served as our introduction to Generation Next before poppa Strick let him out on his own. "Alpha & Omega" delivers a hypnotic intro, punctuated by warm Rhodes chords. Both "Origin" and "Bloodline" bring a funkier side to the jam. Excellent selections for the dancers.
